YetepThe one and only mau5 himself, deadmau5, is going to be bringing his shiny new cube on his Cube V3 tour, outdoing cubes of the past as he always does. Even though the technology will be better than the last and the tracklist might be a little updated, deadmau5 will bring nostalgia to his performances on the tour that so many of his fans crave from a deadmau5 set. In addition to the old, there’s a little new that fans might be pleasantly surprised with: artists LIGHTS and MSTRKRFT will be joining the mau5 on tour.
Accurately praised as “More pop siren than indie darling,” LIGHTS has accumulated millions of streams, a cult-like following, and well-deserved success for her alt-pop style. Her music settles not in any genre, but in the hearts of all of her loyal fans who have followed her around from the beginning. LIGHTS will be doing guest vox at all of the Cube V3 dates!
Toronto duo MSTRKRFT, pronounced “master craft,” made quite the leap from abrasive rock to futuristic electronic. Jesse F. Keeler, part of Death From Above 1979, teamed up with producer AI-P, and the rest is simple smooth history. MSTRKRFT will be joining LIGHTS as support on deadmau5’s tour – get your tickets for the October 5th show at Comerica Theatre here.
