YetepSince his first release in June 2012, Kai Wachi has been on an upward trajectory, thrilling electronic music listeners with his hypnotic sonic textures and ear-shattering basses. Never one to stay in one lane for too long, or to stick to one sound, the 22-year-old has mashed genres and crossed boundaries, and in the process gained thousands of fans among the dubstep, electro and trap lovers.
Hailing from Boise Idaho, Kai is a core member of the Kannibalen Records family where we have seen him release some of his most noted tracks. His 2013 hit track, “In My Blood” is a standout record and hails over the rest today as our Spin It Back Saturday.
This track still bumps. It’s a hard trap track that then, was a ahead of it’s time and is now still one of our favorites. Check it out below.
We’ve got a chance for you to hear this throwback LIVE on December 28 at Aura. Get your tickets now!
