DJ to Watch: Vampa
After discovering her passion for electronic music in college, VAMPA began to energize Chicago’s bass music scene, releasing tunes that showcase both her songwriting ability and sultry vocals. She signed with The GRAVEDANCER Agency in 2018, and has been consistently mesmerizing crowds since.
She has already created an impressive roster of tracks and mixes that have amassed hundreds of thousands of plays as well as a devout fan base. One of her most popular offerings on SoundCloud is a 20-minute mini mix that brought the bassy spooks for the Halloween season. This mix was 1 of 10 mixes curated by Zeds Dead as Deadbeats 10 Days of Dead Treats. It was crowned as one of the best of the 1o in the comments and after listening we agree. Her resume doesn’t stop there, she has released on BLACK TIGER SEX MACHINE’s Kannibaleen Records, Boogie T’s Drama Club Recordings, Big Beat Records and Zeds Dead’s Deadbeats. VAMPA recently toured North America on a 50+ stop bus tour with Boogie T and is preparing to grab festival season by the fangs.
