YetepTrap powerhouses Slushii and Ookay have joined forces to create the next big festival head banger. Sugar monster Slushii has been in the game for years, vetted by popular producers such as Marshmello and Brillz. His rise to fame came with his collaborations with Marshmello such as “There x2” and “Put Yo Hands Up” as well as his popular remixes of Marshello’s “Alone” and “Silence.” Rising talent Ookay got his rise to fame with his song “Thief” and since has been steadily rising in the ranks. As he gained traction in the community, he has been expanding his sound to include not only his hard trap specialty, including electronic pop elements with live instruments and vocals.

This isn’t the first collaboration between the two, Slushii and Ookay came together in 2017 to release “By My Side” which features a similar blend future house and a heavy trap bassline. What both songs have in common is their melodic bass elements that effortlessly blends softer and harder sounds together. Lighter Xylophone-esque sounds build up into a bass drop, then as the song progresses, the tempo speeds up and the bass drops get grimier. There are a lot of different elements to this song, but they work well together. Want to hear more of these two? You can check them out below!
