YetepFew things are better than one of your favorite artists spontaneously posting a new mix. This past week, the beloved mind-melting bass producer Space Jesus, dropped a 33-minute mix entitled “Moon Dot Mix 00” and we are beyond happy. The New Jersey-born producer has been on the back burner of releasing new music but been performing live all over the place and is on the heels of his Moon Landing Tour, so this mix sure is a treat! Titled after his personal record label, Moon Dot Records, the mix is full of hidden bass treasures, so be sure to give it a listen below, you will not be disappointed.
Filled to the brim with new edits and unreleased tracks from Space Jesus himself and some of his fellow producers such as Charlesthefirst, tiedye ky, Esseks, and Eazybaked the “Moon Dot Mx 00” is bursting at the seams with experimental bass gooeyness. Space Jesus has always been known for playing up and coming producers tracks and helping to give them a platform, and this mix does just that. It even features a new ID track from rumored project Paint, which is a collab of Tsuruda and Huxley Anne, who also happens to be Space Jesus’ lovely and talented girlfriend. This mix is exactly what we needed to get us by until future Space Jesus releases. Fingers crossed that this is only the first of many Moon Dot Records mixes to come!
