YetepOne of the most iconic producers in Trance, Paul van Dyk has had an impressive career spanning multiple decades. He’s released eight studio albums, as well as a handful of remix albums and original singles, and he was the first artist to receive a Grammy Award nomination in the newly added category of Best Dance/Electronic album for his 2003 release, “Reflections.” He was also the first DJ to ever be named number one by Mixmag in 2005.
For this week’s Spin it Back Saturday, let’s head back to 2013 for Paul van Dyk’s ” Don’t Deserve You.”
This song is a perfect example of why Paul van Dyk is considered one of the pioneers of Trance. With it’s uplifting melody and big-room sound, “I Don’t Deserve You” is the epitome of the genre.
Be sure to catch Paul van Dyk at Sunbar on February 14th. You can grab tickets here.
