YetepThe way some electronic artists incorporate other instruments they grew up playing makes their music so special. Douglas Appling, better known as Emancipator, does just that. He grew up playing classical violin and has seamlessly blended it into his electronic production. Emancipator is known for his heavenly, fresh, and calming downtempo that has his own funky twist. His last album was released in 2017, but the wait for more is over! Emancipator has now released two singles from his upcoming album, Mountain of Memory, set to be oozing into our ears April 3rd. The first track, “Labyrinth,” is full of adventure and magic. Now, the second single, “Iron Ox,” has arrived, which you can listen to below.
Everything Emancipator creates seems to be ethereal and “Iron Ox” is nothing short of that. Full of free-spirited sounds, blissful melodies, and crisp acoustic instrumentals this track is the perfect soundtrack for your next nature escape. Layers of sounds and little details are what truly makes Emancipator’s music feel like home. If you are loving his latest releases, you are in luck! Emancipator will be taking his Mountain of Memory tour to the Van Buren on May 1st, which you can grab tickets for here and dance the night away to his beautiful sounds.
