Steve Aoki and Travis Barker Team Up for ‘Halfway Dead’

Blink-182 fans rejoice! The band’s drummer, Travis Barker, has teamed up with Steve Aoki for the pop-punk inspired track, “Halfway Dead.” The two have worked together previously, and Barker is no stranger to collaborating with artists across all genres. He’s been featured in tracks with Kanye West, XXXTenacion, Ghosteman, $uicideboy$, Yelawolf, Riff Raff, and more. Check out “Halfway Dead” with Steve Aoki and Global Dan below.

Released via Dim Mak records, “Halfway Dead” features an electro-pop beat with a class Blink-182 punk punch, as well as vocals from Global Dan. The track will appear on Aoki’s upcoming Neon Future IV album, set to release April 3rd.

Steve said about the collab: “It was so organic working with these guys. Collaborating with Travis, whose a rock icon, is always a good time and brings me back to my roots. With Global Dan, not only did we do this song together on my album, but I signed him and produced his whole EP on Dim Mak. He mixes worlds I love like pop-punk and hip-hop in a way that I haven’t heard done before. He’s one to watch.”
