Hayden James teams up with Gorgon City & Nat Dunn for ‘Foolproof’ out now on Future Classic
Australia’s triple-platinum producer Hayden James just released his first single of 2021 on Future Classic with UK’s dance duo Gorgon City and Australian singer-songwriter Nat Dunn. Hayden James first joined the scene back in 2013 and has since reached over half a billion streams worldwide. Gorgon City have also collected over a billion streams and the duo also just sold out their Back To Love festival set for June of this year! Meanwhile, Nat Dunn has written many of the songs we already know and love including the hit single ‘Friends’ by Marshmello and Anne-Marie.
While all of these artists are still patiently waiting on the return to live music, that hasn’t stopped them from creating a groovy dance floor anthem! This house record is really setting the tone for life after lockdown. Hayden James stated “Foolproof is a very special record for me… I’m such a big fan of Gorgon City and of course Nat Dunn and this song came together so naturally in the studio. Great to have this record out, as it was the last studio session I had before lockdown.”
Nat Dunn also notes how ‘Foolproof’ is about unanticipated romance in a world where I was moving so fast for so long – I had never stood still. It was the anchoring effect of that love that felt like anything was possible.” This single is the second collaboration we’ve seen from Hayden James and Nat Dunn after their first track ‘Favours’ was released in 2019. Adding Gorgon City to the mix for ‘Foolproof’ was a natural fit for James with them both already having the same dance music background.
