Excision & Dion Timmer Reunite for ‘Salvation’

Bass juggernauts Excision and Dion Timmer have teamed up for yet another collaboration, a future bass masterpiece, entitled “Salvation” ft. Alexis Donn, out now via Subsidia Records.

Clocking in at just over four minutes, “Salvation” is rich with emotion from beginning to end. Donn’s vocals are ethereal and the lyrics powerful, a track about overcoming the obstacles on the path to redemption, serving as a great reminder about the choices we all face. Excision’s grandiose drops combined with Dion Timmer’s adventurous take on bass music showcase a beautiful, softer side of bass music that flourishes with synth builds and melodic breaks.

“When Alexis Donn sent me the vocals I instantly knew what I wanted to do with it, and that’s really rare. It’s one of the strongest vocal performances I’ve ever gotten to work on. I really like the message of the lyrics, too. When things are going wrong, you sometimes have to put in a ton of work to improve the situation, not just accept things as they are. I think people always need this reminder.” – Excision

Excision and Dion Timmer have joined forces before including on “Necromancer,” “Breaking Through,” “Broken Pieces” and “Home,” to name a few. Excision has teamed up with several artists recently, namely “Back To Back” with UBUR, “Unbound” with Sullivan King, “The Last Time” with Whales, and “Your Fault” with Slander and Elle Vee. He also just kicked off a string of summer tour dates, which includes his recently created two-day event, Reunion. Additionally, he’s announced multiple upcoming festival appearances, including his own annual camping festivals Bass Canyon and Lost Lands.
