Coming in hot after releasing his seventh studio album, Tiësto is already getting back to business! This GRAMMY Award-winning international icon has seamlessly added a new surprise single to his latest album DRIVE. Home to hits like “The Business,” “10:35,” “The Motto,” and now “Yesterday,” DRIVE is Tiësto’s first conceptual album since Kaleidoscope in 2009. The album features a revamped sound from Tiësto, putting a big focus on the sounds of late nights. Check out Tiësto’s bonus track “Yesterday” below:
With its snappy bassline and catchy lyrics, “Yesterday” is the perfect addition to DRIVE. Rarely does an album consist solely of hits, but DRIVE is exactly that. Tiësto showcases his expertise in the fusion of EDM and pop music by creating tracks that serve as the ideal link between the two genres. You can check out the rest of the album here.
With a couple of singles that have already joined Spotify’s 1 billion streams club, DRIVE has become one of the biggest dance albums to be released this year. Over the weekend, it also became the first 2023 album to receive RIAA Gold or higher certification. It’s obvious why Tiësto is the first artist to ever hold all three titles of “The Greatest DJ of All Time” courtesy of Mixmag, “#1 DJ” according to Rolling Stone, and “The Godfather of EDM” as proclaimed by Billboard.
Tiësto will be headlining Goldrush: Sonoran Skies at the Phoenix Raceway on October 7-8th! Alongside Tiësto will be other legendary headliners like Zeds Dead, ZHU, and more! Get your passes and check out the rest of the lineup here.
