YetepOn July 12th, 2024, world renowned actor Will Ferrell and the legendary trio Swedish House Mafia announced an unexpected collaboration at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago later this year. The show is set for October 26th and will be a planned charity event to raise money for Cancer For College. According to Rolling Stone, A-Trak, D-Nice and a star-studded list of guests are set to provide support for this MASSIVE fundraiser.
The announcement begins with Will Ferrell sitting at a computer with a beat playing in the background. He is in Stockholm, Sweden and decked out in Swedish House Mafia gear while rocking sunglasses inside. Speakers, keyboards, and other music production gear can be seen surrounding the computer. He then pauses the music and greets the audience.

“Oh, Hello. I didn’t see you there. I have a major announcement to make. On October 26th. That’s right.. in CHICAGO. Wintrust Arena. Benefit show for Cancer For College. I’ll be playing with my band, Swedish House Mafia!” He then welcomes the group as they all enter the frame. “Boys.. Steve, Seb, Ax, GET IN HERE!” Will Ferrell then drops a firm but friendly reminder “CHICAGO! REMEMBER!” Seb then adds on to this reminder “We will see you there, Chicago!” Will Ferrell then closes the announcement in the most Will Ferrell way possible: “BE THERE! DON’T PISS THESE GUYS OFF!” before upbeat music plays out the announcement with show details on the screen. This is an unexpected (and possibly once-in-a-lifetime) event that is sure to be an epic party!
