Dubstep Dive: The Best in the Game Release New Heat

On this week’s dubstep dive, I am going to bring you some of the best new dubstep music from this week. There are some of the greatest to ever do it in the list this week so let’s get right into it.

Excision has returned from the studio after welcoming his first child just a few months ago. Connecting with one of his friends and longtime collaborators, Dion Timmer, the two artists worked together to make a real banger. This new single packs in some insane bass with a house twist. The second drop is a true bass house head’s dream. Be sure to check out “DABADABADBDABA”, which was released Tuesday.

Another of the greatest dubstep artists of our time is Ganja White Night. They used their sound and almost two decades of music experience to curate one of the wonkiest record labels, SubCarbon. This new release from Ganja White Night is also a collaboration with one of their homies from the beginning of Ganja White Night, Boogie T. The two finally release their new tune “Burnin.” This newest single is in preparation for an album in the beginning of 2025! Checkout the music video from visual artist Ebo below!

Mersiv B2B Inzo had to be one of the most magical sets at Goldrush 2024. The first time the duo went back to back was one to remember. They have released a new single together in preparation for their combined headline tour this upcoming year. The new tune is “Digital Night Drive” and is a great tune for fans of LSDREAM and CloZee, and is full of wonky wubs ethereal instrumentals.

Before we get into the more deep dubstep releases, I cannot skip over some of the heaviest riddim of the year. Also known as trench, riddim contains some of the heaviest and most energetic sound design of any dubstep subgenre. Samplifire, French riddim master, has released some riddim for the ages this week. “PUNCH,” which was released on Bassweight Records, is sure to get your knees jumping in the mosh pit.

In the deeper sound, PAV4N and Abstract Sonance have linked up in the studio once more to create a few heavy tunes. Releasing a three-song EP this week titled Supply & Demand, Abstract Sonance provides some deep bass lines while PAV4N fuses his unique UK vocals. Supply & Demand EP is sure to make your soundsystem shake.

The final release to highlight from the week comes from two local artists who we had the pleasure of bringing out to Coconino Campout this past September. Arboreal, one of the freshest Arizona duos have linked up with another Arizona homie, Auxlee, to release their newest single. “Earthbound,” which releases Sunday the 10th, is a mix of drum and bass with some nasty half time.
