YetepI was first introduced to HUGEL after hearing “I Adore You,” a groovy and diverse collaboration that draws inspiration from numerous cultures and genres. “I Adore You” has achieved massive success with over 154 MILLION plays on Spotify alone. The track “WTF” was also on my repeat list in the later half of 2024. HUGEL outdid himself this year. Releasing his three most played songs and a star-studded remix of “I Adore You” featuring Ellie Goulding. HUGEL is on a hot streak and shows no signs of slowing down.
This trend continues with his first ever boiler room set. This set took place at an unconventional location: A Berlin McDonalds! The accompanying press release describes this as a “full circle moment” and a “return to his roots.” This is due to the fact that “first job after leaving college to pursue his artistic vision was at a McDonald’s.”
He took over the iconic Europa Center location of the beloved fast-food chain to deliver a high-energy, hour-long solo set. The night continued with back-to-back performances from artists on his Make The Girls Dance imprint, including Grossomoddo, Adam Trigger, Deron, Mydoz and Randoree., keeping the crowd buzzing. Adding a playful twist to the evening, HUGEL stepped into the kitchen before his set to revisit his Big Mac-making skills, serving freshly crafted burgers to guests—a nostalgic nod to his journey from fast food to global stardom.

The unique setting of his first boiler room set demonstrates the consistent output of creativity that HUGEL is known for. Dancing is an energetic way to express oneself and a hunger-inducing activity. The HUGEL-made Big Macs were the cherry on top of an already EPIC evening. And likely appreciated by the energetic crowd. An event like this is a great way to go viral and expand HUGEL’s wide-reaching fanbase even further.
