Know Before You Go: Last Minute PHXLIGHTS Tips

Are you ready for PHXLIGHTS: Solar Sound System? Today is RAVE DAY! Here’s a list of reminders to make sure you’re prepared to have an experience out of this world:

• Show up, show out, feel comfortable – you’ll be seeing metallics, mesh, and glow in the dark everything. Tap into your most creative side with your fits but don’t skip on comfortable shoes like sneakers or worn in boots! Blisters and pain are never worth it.
• Expect a temperature twist – desert days = hot. Desert nights = chilly. Bring a layer!
• Hydration is important even when it’s 60 degrees – don’t forget the Camelbak or retractable water bottle so you don’t have to leave the crowd. Start drinking electrolytes TODAY so you’re fueled up to dance all night!
• Dust is the only one uninvited – pashminas, bandanas, even a good old scarf will keep you from inhaling half the desert when you’re walking in and out of Rawhide.

• Pack a tiny “go bag” for your bag – tissues, hand sanitizer, chapstick, gum, portable charger. Rave gods reward the prepared.
• Cell service? What service? – screenshot your ticket, screenshot the set times, set meet up spots, share your location, and plan your ride home ahead of time!
• Be the vibes you want to see in the crowd – say hi, compliment outfits, trade trinkets, and respect people’s space. And remember: consent is sexy. No touching without asking. Period.
• Get there EARLY – not only will you get better parking, but this year’s openers might be next year’s headliners. Don’t miss them!
• Take pictures, but live in the moment – you’ll want to remember the lights and the people, not just the instagram views.
