LEVEL UP Announces Summer Honolulu Show At HB Social Club

LEVEL UP is an iconic, split-dye rock producer best known for blending soothing storybook vibes with heavy wubs. All draped in a spooky aesthetic. LEVEL UP is scheduled to perform a highly anticipated headlining show at Hawaiian Brian’s Social Club in Honolulu this summer. This 18+ show is a collaboration between METTA, Audiophile, and Relentless Beats and scheduled for Friday June 13th at 9:00PM. To celebrate this epic occasion, I will be breaking down “Power,” a 2024 collaboration between LEVEL UP, Subtronics, and Grabbitz. LEVEL UP and Subtronics are married, while Grabbitz’s versatile vocals pair well with the production, creating a unique foundation on which to build a team effort.

“I Can Feel Your Power!”

“Power” mixes sploinky, intergalactic production with sizzling synths and crunchy basslines. Grabbitz’s voice echoes over crisp drum effects and alien chirps. Bass surges in the background as the track expands into a glistening starscape. The build up to the first drop begins as the drums rapidly accelerate. Briefly vanishing to welcome in the drop with a LEVELTRONICS producer tag.

“GIVE ME YOUR POWER! How’s That??!”

The heavy bass in the drop rocks back and forth. Joined by ectoplasmic bubbles, scratches, and plenty of YUHHHHH effects. A thick bass loops keeps the rhythm as the track gets extra sploinky. Launching the listener out of a cannon into outer space. Briefly drifting though it’s vast reaches. “Power” then transports from outer space, to a crystalline haunted house. Thanks to LEVEL UP’s lullaby like melodies. The sploinking gets out if control in the last fifty seconds of the track. This represents the advanced production techniques of everyone involved.
