Porter Robinson to Bring a High-Energy DJ Set to Maya Dayclub for the Ultimate Sunday Funday
Mark your calendars: Porter Robinson is landing in Scottsdale for a rare and rowdy DJ set at Maya Dayclub this Sunday, June 8th. This isn’t your typical Porter show. If you caught the emotional rollercoaster of the SMILE! Tour earlier this year, think of this as its wild, free-spirited cousin. No live band. No dreamy, tear-jerking ballads. This is Porter unleashed, dropping edits, remixes, and high-octane bangers from across the EDM spectrum.
Known for redefining electronic music more than once in his career, Porter Robinson is a name that resonates deeply with ravers and festival-goers. His 2014 debut album, Worlds, carved out a whole new lane in melodic electronica, blending emotional storytelling with pixelated soundscapes. Then came his Virtual Self alias, a nod to 2000s trance and hard dance that blew everyone’s minds (and speaker systems). And in 2021, Nurture reminded us just how human electronic music can be, with live instruments, vocals, and vulnerable lyrics that made us cry on the dance floor in the best way.
But on June 8th, he’s going full throttle. Expect a genre-hopping set packed with unreleased remixes, Porter throwbacks, and dance floor weapons you won’t hear on the radio. From euphoric house to hard-hitting bass to anime-inspired edits, this set will be a full-body experience under the desert sun.
Maya Dayclub is the perfect setting for this rare Porter DJ performance. With its open-air vibes, massive pool, and day-to-night party energy, it’s the ultimate backdrop for a high-BPM Sunday Funday. Grab your rave fam, your favorite sunnies, a good sunscreen, and your best dance moves, this isn’t just a show, it’s a celebration.
If you’ve never seen Porter Robinson in DJ mode, do yourself a favor and watch a set on YouTube. You’ll catch a glimpse of the energy that’s about to hit Arizona, and trust me, you’ll want to be in the crowd when it does.
Come for the sunshine, stay for the sonic journey. This is your chance to see one of EDM’s most iconic artists let loose in an intimate, high-energy setting. Tickets won’t last, don’t sleep on this one.

I found EDM in my early years as a high schooler, with artists like Avicii, Afrojack, Tiësto, Martin Garrix, Krewella, and so many others filling my playlists. In 2017, Voodoo Music Festival became my first festival and live music experience, and honestly, I have not stopped since. Since then, I’ve made my way through 20+ music festivals and at least 43 shows that I’ve actually remembered to count, but the numbers have never been the best part. It’s the people I’ve met, the memories made, the unexpected moments, and that feeling of being surrounded by thousands of people who all came to feel something together. I write because I genuinely love this community and the music that brings us together. My hope with every article, review, and story is to capture even a little bit of that feeling and share it with you. I want you to feel the excitement I feel standing in that crowd, hear the details that made a song stick in my heart, and understand just how much I appreciate the artists, fans, and experiences that make this community so special. There is so much magic in this world of music, and I’m just happy I get to be here for it, listen to it, and put some of that love into words.
