YetepSpooky season is upon us, and Canadian producer REZZ is coming out of the shadows to lure old and new fans alike into her dark, hypnotic soundscape. Master of all things horror, REZZ is known to incorporate optical illusions, hypnosis, and bone-chilling aesthetics in her music and live sets, making her vibe instantly recognizable and her impression effortlessly memorable.
As September flies by and October approaches, it’s no surprise the electronic artist had more than a few tricks up her sleeve to welcome the macabre-themed month, and these tricks come with all new treats. Following the debut of her new project and headline show ‘PORTAL’ earlier this year, and the announcement of her 7th rendition of REZZ ROCKS in Colorado next month, REZZ just released a brand-new album, titled As the Pendulum Swings. Out now on all platforms via her record label HypnoVizion, check it out below!
With 13 new tracks offering different styles, vibes, and beats, REZZ delivers on staying true to her signature sound, with several of the songs feeling like an ode to some of her releases earlier in her career. The album consists of 5 solo mixes produced by REZZ, along with an array of collaborations with artists like Dillon Francis, k?d, Owl Vision, EDDIE, and her wife fknsyd, who provides vocals on several of the tracks, to name a few.
REZZ donned this album as one of her darkest yet, with her also stating that this is the most dialed-in era of her career. Follow the journey through industrial mid-tempo beats, eerie vocal edits, and basslines so deep and dark you can feel them in your soul. With Halloween coming up fast, there’s no telling what she’s going to do next, but rest assured there’s something new waiting for you at every turn.
