YetepMitiS is preparing to share something deeply personal. The melodic bass producer, known for his emotive piano work and festival anthems, has announced his upcoming EP Through The Dark, set for release on March 13. But first, he’s giving fans a taste of what’s to come with the stunning new single “Wilderness,” featuring vocalist Katie Cecil, out now.
“Wilderness” captures everything MitiS does best. Flowing piano melodies build into cinematic, soaring drops, creating a track that feels both vulnerable and powerful. It’s art that has made him a staple on stages like EDC Las Vegas, Tomorrowland, and Ultra, but this new chapter carries extra weight.
The EP was born from loss. Following the passing of his father last year, MitiS found himself returning to the piano as a way to process grief. What emerged was his most honest work in years. “Through The Dark is the most personal body of work I’ve made in a long time,” he shares. “Losing my dad last year completely changed me, not just as a person, but as an artist. This EP is about grief, healing, and finding light in moments you never think you’ll survive. It’s painful, but it’s also hopeful.”
MitiS has built a career translating musicianship into deeply personal electronic music. His devoted fanbase, the MitiS Mob, has helped carry these emotional moments far beyond streaming platforms into shared live experiences worldwide.
With “Wilderness” out now, and the full EP following March 13. This project promises to be a moving journey through darkness and back into the light.
