DnB Duo Crumb Pit Covers Partying & Breakups in New Single, ‘It’s Over’

Crumb Pit, the British dudes with attitude are back with another stunner titled, “It’s Over.” The Subsidia track is part party anthem and part sassy breakup song. “It’s Over” features unique metaphors and braggadocios lyrics. Lines like: “He was broke before, but now he’s paid. Way too many people didn’t know me, now I DJ.” Show off the unrivaled confidence of these two dope blokes. Victoria’s Secret, Donkey Kong, and Calvin Klein get name-drops in the verses, adding some brand loyalty to the mix. Pitched up vocals clash with DnB wobbles and drumbeats. Dubstep laser effects also shine through the haze, much like in the single’s cover art. Intense build-ups lead to warping drops and the chorus:

“It’s over now. Ya f**king done. I don’t wanna hear no petty shit, we’re number one. Yes, it’s over. Ya f**king done mate.”

The second verse taps into the “breakup” themes of the song, though the angle of these themes is up to interpretation.

“Dun kno tha ting. Bought her a ring. Bought her a lot of shiny little things, I swear.”

This could mean a couple of things. He could be singing this about the girl he just broke up with, or the new girl he has found, Or possibly BOTH! Nothing is off the table for Crumb Pit, which is why I love them so much.

“It’s Over” is a wonderful addition to Crumb Pit’s discography. Their lyrics, metaphors, and sound design improve with every release. Multiple genres are blended together here, making it accessible to fans of all EDM styles. The infectious catchiness of “It’s Over” is a great first impression for new Crumb Pit listeners and demonstrates all they have to offer.
