Of The Trees Drops Heavy New Single, ‘Amanita’
Of The Trees is back with his first solo release since his Moonglade Park album. The new track, “Amanita,” finds the producer leaning further into the heavier side of his sound.
The track builds on the sound design he established with Moonglade Park, weaving together hard-hitting bass, atmospheric textures, and unique layers. Reggae-inspired vocals float over soundscapes before giving way to deep “wubby” drops. It feels both psychedelic and grounded, expanding his nature-driven production style and not losing any of the organic feel fans adore him for.
“Amanita” follows his collaboration with LYNY on “Hollow” and arrives as Of The Trees continues to build out his creative ecosystem. He’s currently on his Park Service headline run, and his flagship event Camp Alderwild is set to return later this year.
In keeping with his commitment to environmental causes, all royalties from “Amanita” will be donated to environmental nonprofits. The artist has now raised over $45,000 for sustainability efforts through his music.
“We may not be able to change the world overnight, but we can certainly push meaningful impact within the electronic music space.”
