North Coast Expands Chill Dome & Debuts New Nighttime Concept ‘The Bunker’
As part of its 16th anniversary rollout, North Coast Music Festival is expanding the beloved Chill Dome and introducing an entirely new nighttime concept called “The Bunker.” By day, the Dome remains a sanctuary for alternative sets and immersive activities. By night, it transforms into a hard techno and riddim heaven.

The expansion wasn’t the only thing announced either. Some real sweet for bass heads came in the latest additions, North Coast answered the fans call by adding Prosecute, Nimda, The Resistance, and a massive Mad Dubz B2B VKTM set to the carnage. Absolute bangers for anyone who knows ball. These names join an already stacked underground lineup featuring Angerfist, Alignment, YDG, Nikolina, and Dømina all set to debut “The Bunker.”
The festival returns September 4–6 at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, Illinois. Phase Two also added bass and genre-blending acts including Level Up, Sippy, Interplanetary Criminal, and Jigitz. They join headliners Fisher, GRiZ, Illenium B2B Slander, Levity B2B Tape B, Porter Robinson (DJ Set), and Gryffin.

North Coast notoriously continues to support its local scene, with more than 55 Chicago-based DJs featured across the Firepit, Silent Disco, and Chill Dome programs. Tickets are on sale now. Keep an eye out for additional announcements in the coming weeks.
