You could spend one night buried somewhere deep in the underground with Samantha Togni. You could spend the next with your hands in the air, waving them like you just do not care while Afrojack turns the room into a full scale dance party. Then, to top it all off, you could find yourself deep inside the DRAMA Club, moving to something a little sexier, smoother, and harder to define. Same building. Completely different universes. That is what makes Warehouse 215 such an exciting room for electronic music. It is the perfect space to house a variety of artists, sounds, and crowds, with plenty of room to dance around while completely immersing yourself in whatever vibe the night has to offer. This October, the venue is giving Phoenix three opportunities to experience electronic music from entirely different angles. The only question is which version of yourself is showing up.
OCTOBER 16: SAMANTHA TOGNI
If your ideal night involves dark rooms, heavy techno and a dance floor that feels more like an underground club somewhere in Europe than downtown Phoenix, start here. Italian-born and London-based, Samantha Togni has built an international career around high-impact techno and a deep commitment to underground club culture. She has played major clubs everywhere from Tokyo to Berlin and is the founder of Boudica, a platform, label, event series, and conference created to give greater visibility to women, trans and nonbinary artists in electronic music. She is also a resident of the Berlin collective GEGEN, further cementing herself in one of electronic music’s most exciting underground spaces. Togni’s sets live in the fast lane. Her sound leans toward hard, high-tempo techno, with productions that can push into the mid 140 BPM range and are built to move cleanly through a DJ mix. This is not necessarily the night for someone waiting around for a giant singalong or a predictable festival drop. This is for the people who understand the beauty of losing themselves in a kick drum. You are most likely to find yourself somewhere deep in the crowd for this one, shoulders loose, lights flashing across the room, and the beat becoming the only thing you are thinking about. The rest of the world can wait. You have a dark room, a serious sound system, fast beats, and a groove that is going to take care of the rest.
If you want your Friday night to feel like you accidentally wandered into an underground club and decided you were never leaving, Samantha Togni is your answer. Then comes Saturday, and we then head into a completely different direction.
OCTOBER 17: AFROJACK PRESENTS: CONTROL
Some names in electronic music simply carry more weight, and Afrojack is one of them. A genuine architect of the modern electronic music era, the Dutch superstar has spent nearly two decades commanding the biggest stages in the world and helping shape festival dance music as we know it. From Tomorrowland and Ultra to Las Vegas residencies and global tours, Afrojack is a name that has remained at the top through multiple generations of electronic music. That is exactly why his arrival in Arizona is important. Phoenix does not get the opportunity to see a legend of this caliber every other weekend, and October 17 is one of those nights you will look back on and realize you were lucky to be in the room. Afrojack is bringing the massive energy he is known for on main stages around the world into the far more intimate setting of Warehouse 215, and that combination should be enough to get you excited. Expect enormous builds, pounding kick drums, recognizable melodies, and the kind of drops that make an entire room throw their hands up at once. This is big energy in a building where you are close enough to actually feel every bit of it. You will probably find yourself somewhere in the middle of the crowd for this one, getting pulled closer to the stage with every beat.
If Samantha Togni is the night you disappear into the underground, Afrojack is the night you remember just how huge electronic music can feel. This is your hands-in-the-air, screaming with your friends, jumping when the drop hits, and forgetting that your feet hurt kind of night. OCTOBER 23: DRAMA (CLUB)
But after all that high energy, Warehouse 215 has one more trick up its sleeve. The final stop in Warehouse 215’s October run takes things somewhere warmer, sexier and far more unpredictable. DRAMA, the electronic R&B duo made up of vocalist Via Rosa and producer Na’el Shehade, is known for blending emotional songwriting with house, R&B and electronic production, but their DRAMA Club sets take that energy directly to the dance floor. These are not your typical live concert performances. Their dedicated club experiences lean into high-energy DJ mixes, deep grooves and the kind of genre-bending selections that can move effortlessly between house rhythms, R&B vocals and electronic club music. Having brought their club sets to spaces like Chicago’s Smartbar, Splash House in Palm Springs, and Miami’s ZeyZey, DRAMA knows how to create a room you do not want to leave. This is likely where you will find yourself dancing a little closer, getting lost in a groove, and realizing halfway through the night that you have not stopped moving. The energy here is completely different from the two nights before it. The lights feel lower. The bass feels warmer. The dancing gets a little less aggressive and a little more intentional. You are not necessarily throwing yourself into the crowd or chasing the fastest BPM of the night. You are settling into the music and letting it take over from there. If you want the most sensual and free-flowing night of the three, October 23 is your answer.

I found EDM in my early years as a high schooler, with artists like Avicii, Afrojack, Tiësto, Martin Garrix, Krewella, and so many others filling my playlists. In 2017, Voodoo Music Festival became my first festival and live music experience, and honestly, I have not stopped since. Since then, I’ve made my way through 20+ music festivals and at least 43 shows that I’ve actually remembered to count, but the numbers have never been the best part. It’s the people I’ve met, the memories made, the unexpected moments, and that feeling of being surrounded by thousands of people who all came to feel something together. I write because I genuinely love this community and the music that brings us together. My hope with every article, review, and story is to capture even a little bit of that feeling and share it with you. I want you to feel the excitement I feel standing in that crowd, hear the details that made a song stick in my heart, and understand just how much I appreciate the artists, fans, and experiences that make this community so special.
