Steller & Big Gigantic drop ‘Keep it Live’ Ft. Chicago Rap Duo, The Palmer Squares

TUE, OCT 27, 2026

I was treated to a very pleasant surprise while browsing Instagram the other day. Psychedelic producer Steller shared “Keep It Live” on her story. This incredible track features funk master duo Big Gigantic and surprise guests, The Palmer Squares. The latter is an independent rap duo straight out of Chicago, Illinois. An appearance by The Palmer Squares alongside these industry favorites is a collaboration that I didn’t know I needed. The duo is known for their incredible flows and massive vocabulary, creatively blending Chicago vernacular with thesaurus-worthy quips.

These three forces combine to create an incredible track.

“Keep It Live” kicks off with Steller’s wubs, Big Gigantic’s saxophone/funk influence, and a verse from P-Squares member Acumental:

“Welcome to the main event. We’re getting rowdy. Hit the town and we paint it red. It’s not a test, swear to god I’m the best. Hot off the press, heart beating out of my chest.”

The groove intensifies, launching into orbit with intergalactic alarms and BANGING drum effects. Terminal Knowledge busts down the doors, taking up chorus duty to build up to the drop. Term-K and Acumental bounce back and forth as the drop continues to evolve.

“We keep it live, ain’t nobody can stop us. We rock the party nonstop LIKE THIS!”

The first drop features crunchy bass tones, liquid wubs, and wonky undertones. Term-K and Acumental keep the flow going under the intense drop. Big Gigantic takes over with a beautiful saxophone solo over snap effects. Term-K takes over the mic for the next verse:

“HEADS UP! There’s a fox in the henhouse. Chin down, Like boxing for ten rounds. Body rocking like my name is Medusa. Pouring over the excruciating minutia.”

The beat gets even more funky this time around, with the drop coming in with a sweeping transition. The bass takes on a rhythm of its own, reaching incredible and HEAVY low ends. This teases the final drop before it takes over. Ending the track with unique rhythm and style. This epic collaboration came out of NOWHERE and I hope to hear The Palmer Squares featured in more EDM tracks.
