Giorgia Angiuli is an Italian live artist, electronic producer and classically-trained
musician who, as she emerges into a new chapter of her artistry, is embracing her most
authentic self yet. 2024 welcomes releases on labels including Armada Music, Sony,
Filth on Acid (TBA) and Artcore (tba) inspired by sonic healing and beyond.
This year’s releases, and her livesets, demonstrate a recent artistic shift, as she now
plays a musical style best described as a hybridity of psy techno and trance. Although
harder and faster – inspired by several trips to India, a period of self-work and exploration
and her longstanding interest in wellness and healing through sound, particularly the
connection between music production and self awareness – we are still greeted with the
poetically beautiful musician that is Angiuli.
Her live performances and events have been of international plaudit for years now
across festivals, parties and more: she has played live at Warung (Brazil), Loveland
(ADE), Dockyard Festival (ADE), Sandbox Festival (Egypt), Plages Electroniques
Festival (France), Paradise Amnesia (Ibiza), Stereo (Montreal), Fusion Festival
(Germany), Cityfox (USA), CRSSD (USA), Exit (Serbia), Baum Park (Medellin) and
several more. 2024 is equally prolific: key dates include Sunburn (India), Ultra Music
Festival (Miami), Awakenings (Netherlands) Elrow Town (Italy) and radio show A State of
Trance.
Angiuli’s previous releases are of equally extensive calibre. 2023 saw the addition of
Purified, Mobilee and Armada to her back catalogue, with 2022 also welcoming several
releases on Armada in addition to a debut on Spinnin Records. Elsewhere, her
inclusive label United launched in 2020 and her two LPs – ‘Quantum Love’ (2021) and
‘In A Pink Bubble’ (2018) – unsurprisingly gained a plethora of global press attention from
seminal tastemakers including Vogue Italia, DJ Mag UK / Italy / Spain / Brazil, TRAX
(France) and Attack Magazine (UK).
