Spanning over 350 acres in North Albuquerque, Balloon Museum Park surrounds the historic Anderson-Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum. World-famous as the main venue for the annual Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta—the largest hot-air balloon gathering on Earth—the complex features a massive grass launch field, an outdoor amphitheater, paved concourses, and the Event & Golf Center. Throughout the year, the park serves as a versatile venue for major outdoor music festivals, cross-country sporting events, cultural powwows, wine and food tastings, and community gatherings.
Vast Open Field: The main grass field is equivalent to more than 50 soccer fields; wearing comfortable walking shoes, dressing in layers (desert mornings can be chilly), and bringing sun protection are strongly advised.
Drone Strict Restriction: Personal drones/UAVs are strictly prohibited across the entire park and surrounding airspace due to low-flying aircraft and hot-air balloon traffic.
