Occupying a repurposed big-box space in the Westbluff Shopping Center near Coors Boulevard, Electric Playhouse Albuquerque was built as a prototype high-tech amusement and event complex. The 24,000-square-foot facility gamifies the built environment using floor-to-ceiling motion sensors and projection-mapping technology without requiring VR headsets or handheld controllers. The facility houses interactive gaming arenas, a full commercial kitchen, bar lounges, an LED entry tunnel, and private event rooms featuring interactive tables for chef-driven immersive dining, corporate buyouts, and 21+ late-night DJ events.
