HB Social Club (also known as Hawaiian Brian’s) is a 21,000 sq ft multi-purpose entertainment center on the 2nd floor of a commercial building in Honolulu, HI, next to 24 Hour Fitness. Originally opened in 1983 and relocated to its current Kapiolani Boulevard location two years later, it features a live music stage/performance venue, billiards hall (17 regulation tables plus 6 bar tables), darts, an arcade, and an intimate lounge (‘The Studio’) home to The Mars Comedy Club, regarded as Hawaii’s best underground comedy show. It hosts touring EDM/electronic acts, hip-hop, reggae, and comedy shows.
The venue’s primary concert hall featuring high-caliber live sound and lighting rigs, an elevated performance stage, open dance floor space, and a dedicated full-service bar for headlining artists and electronic touring acts.
An intimate secondary indoor performance room and lounge equipped with its own stage, full bar, and flexible seating, hosting intimate acoustic sets, local DJ showcases, and comedy performances.
Access to HB Social Club is via Kapiolani Blvd through the 24 Hour Fitness entrance, up the stairs, across the parking lot to the Hawaiian Brian’s sign; full bar available in each venue area; no outside drinks allowed; doors typically open about 1 hour before performances for scheduled events
On-site parking via 1680 Kapiolani Blvd’s lot (street access through 24 Hour Fitness, then across the parking lot); parking is credit-card-only, controlled by 1680 Kapiolani LLC; HB Security validates parking tickets at a pay station near the 24 Hour Fitness entrance on the 2nd floor; validated rate is $2 for 4 hours plus $2 per additional hour; free street parking available in surrounding areas during the evening and on Sundays/major holidays (exit from the lot can take a long time after events)
Backpacks on event nights (subject to search at any time); water bottles such as Hydroflasks or other drink containers; weapons of any kind (subject to confiscation)
