Originally opened in 1929 as one of the five legendary “Loew’s Wonder Theatres” in the New York metropolitan area, Kings Theatre is a landmark venue designed by Rapp & Rapp with interiors inspired by the Palace of Versailles and the Paris Opera House. Following a massive, award-winning $95M restoration, the theater reopened in 2015 as a premier performing arts destination operated by Ambassador Theatre Group. The space features opulent French Baroque plasterwork, high ornate curved ceilings, state-of-the-art acoustics, and a grand auditorium hosting major concerts, comedy tours, dance, and theatrical productions.
