Mesa Amphitheatre is an outdoor, general-admission concert venue with tiered lawn seating, located on the Mesa Convention Center campus in downtown Mesa, AZ. Opened in 1979 (some sources say 1978), it draws from a market of more than 4 million people and hosts a wide variety of musical acts, festivals, and community events. It operates rain or shine as an outdoor venue and is owned/operated by the City of Mesa Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities Department.
