Riverview Park (Mesa Riverview Park)
A flagship recreation destination, urban fishing hub, and home to Chicago Cubs Spring Training.

Spanning the northwest corner of Dobson Road and Rio Salado Parkway, Riverview Park is one of Mesa’s premier public recreation facilities. Following a major redevelopment project, the park anchors Sloan Park—the MLB Spring Training stadium for the Chicago Cubs. Known for its iconic 50-foot Genesis climbing tower and a 60-foot rope caterpillar mesh climbing structure, the park also features a stocked 5-acre urban fishing lake, interactive splash pads, open lawns, and miles of paved walking trails. It serves as a community gathering space for outdoor festivals, 5K runs, and family gatherings.
