Opened in late 2022 on the Arizona State University campus, Mullett Arena is a state-of-the-art $134M multi-purpose indoor sports and entertainment venue. Operated by Oak View Group, it serves as the home ice for ASU Sun Devils Division I Men’s Ice Hockey and the home court/mat for Sun Devil Gymnastics, Wrestling, and Volleyball. The facility also anchors the Valley Suns (NBA G-League) and hosts major touring concerts, comedy shows, and private expos. Attached directly to the main arena footprint is the Mountain America Community Iceplex, a second full-size public ice rink open for community skating, youth leagues, and figure skating.
Cashless Building: All concessions, box office ticketing, team shops, and bar points of sale operate on card or contactless digital wallet payments (Apple Pay, Google Pay). Cash is not accepted.
Clear Bag Policy: Enforces a strict clear bag policy for all events. Clear plastic/vinyl bags cannot exceed 12″ x 6″ x 12″; small clutch purses are permitted up to 4.5″ x 6.5″.
Tobacco-Free Campus: ASU is a completely smoke-free and vape-free campus environment.
On-site event parking is managed through ASU Parking. Primary patron parking garages include the Packard Structure (located right next to the venue) and the Novus Parking Structure. Parking passes can be pre-purchased online via Ticketmaster.
Streetcar: Connected via the Tempe Streetcar stops along Rio Salado Parkway and College Ave.
Rideshare (Lyft/Uber): Designated pick-up and drop-off zones operate out of Lot 10, at the northeast corner of Rio Salado Pkwy and Packard Dr.
Fully ADA compliant. Features ADA seating platforms across multiple concourse sections (Rinkside, Concourse, and Suite levels), accessible elevator banks, family restrooms with universal changing tables, and dedicated drop-off lanes.
