Phoenix Raceway is a 1-mile dogleg tri-oval track in Avondale, AZ that has hosted motorsports since opening in 1964. It is home to NASCAR Championship Weekend (since 2020), hosting two NASCAR race weekends each year featuring the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series, NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, and ARCA Menards Series West. A $178 million modernization (2017-2018) relocated the start/finish line, demolished the frontstretch grandstands, and added new grandstands and suites; it was completed in November 2018. Beyond racing, the venue hosts concerts (including EDM festivals like Goldrush Music Festival, Decadence Arizona, and PHXLIGHTS), corporate meetings/conferences, charity events, weddings, holiday events, sport/endurance competitions, and driving schools (NASCAR Racing Experience).
