Phoenix Raceway is a 1-mile dogleg tri-oval track in Avondale, AZ that has hosted motorsports since opening in 1964. It is home to NASCAR Championship Weekend (since 2020), hosting two NASCAR race weekends each year featuring the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series, NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, and ARCA Menards Series West. A $178 million modernization (2017-2018) relocated the start/finish line, demolished the frontstretch grandstands, and added new grandstands and suites; it was completed in November 2018. Beyond racing, the venue hosts concerts (including EDM festivals like Goldrush Music Festival, Decadence Arizona, and PHXLIGHTS), corporate meetings/conferences, charity events, weddings, holiday events, sport/endurance competitions, and driving schools (NASCAR Racing Experience).

Main Stage Grounds

A massive open-air outdoor festival lawn layout situated on the raceway grounds, built to host tens of thousands of fans with mega-structure stage production, towering LED arrays, pyrotechnics, and multi-level VIP viewing decks.

Infield Canopy Stage

A secondary covered performance environment built within the raceway’s transformed infield complex, featuring high-output audio arrays, overhead lighting setups, and custom DJ production for multi-stage festivals.

Public transit is limited in the West Valley motorsports district; personal vehicles, event shuttles, or rideshares are strongly recommended.
