Managed by Bernalillo County Parks & Recreation on land leased from the New Mexico State Land Office, the Dr. E. A. “Swede” Scholer Regional Recreation Complex is a flagship outdoor sports venue located in Mesa del Sol in South Albuquerque. The multi-phase complex serves as the principal regional hub for local youth/adult soccer leagues (such as the Duke City Soccer League and Albuquerque Soccer League), major regional tournaments, and professional training facilities (including practice fields for New Mexico United).
