Tucked away in a basement setting underneath Downtown Phoenix, Valley Bar is a sub-surface venue operated by Stateside Presents. Guests enter through a back-alley entrance into a mid-century themed space divided into distinct zones: the Rose Room (a craft cocktail lounge dedicated to Arizona political nostalgia), a game room with skee-ball, billiards, and board games, and an intimate 250-capacity music hall. The stage regularly hosts indie touring bands, stand-up comedy, film screenings, DJ nights, and local showcases.
All bags will be searched and wanded prior to entry. Bags that are not clear will be subject to additional search.
Hidden Entry: The venue entrance is strictly located in the alleyway running parallel between Central Avenue and 1st Avenue. Look for the yellow neon sign or security line near the alley doors.
Cashless / Card Facilities: Bars, box office, and game tokens accept major credit/debit cards and contactless mobile payments.
Valley Bar does not offer on-site parking. There is limited metered street parking and some other lots around the venue that offer paid parking. Paid parking fills up quickly, so we recommend using Light Rail, Rideshare, or other transportation when possible.
Highly accessible via the Valley Metro Light Rail with stations immediately adjacent at Central Ave/Washington St and 1st Ave/Adams St.
If you have an ADA or special needs request, please contact the Box Office in advance and they will be happy to assist.
