Insomniac Announces EDC Chicago with Camping

The time has come, Chicago! Insomniac has finally made their official announcement for their first Midwest stop for the epic dance music festival that is Electric Daisy Carnival.

On May 24, 25, and 26 Chicagoland Speedway will be home to the some of the biggest artists in the scene for a 3-day festival that is sure to be another permanent stop in the EDC party train.

The Memorial Day weekend date is sure to bring in a lot of dance music fans to the Joliet, Illinois venue. The venue itself has 75,000 seats in the round, but Insomniac will most likely take advantage of all of that empty open road to make room for  as many fans as possible.

This will also be the first EDC event to give a limited number of fans the opportunity to buy camping tickets and party all weekend long, putting EDC on par with Coachella and Creamfields.
