First they woke your Mind… now Start to feel! Cosmic Gate to release new album
Germany’s most enduringly successful trance duo, Nic Chagall & Bossi, are back at it again with the release of their sixth studio album. Cosmic Gate have made tracks that stood the test of time and are still being played and loved by fans today such as “Fire wire” and “Exploration of Space” to name a few. Following the mega-selling “Wake Your Mind” L.P., Cosmic Gate have their sights set on another hit album with “Start To Feel” set to be released through WYM Records/Armada Music.
Nic Chagall & Bossi indicate that “Start to Feel” will feature a diverse set of tracks and not simply electronic music that starts and stops at the drop. “We love that type of music. If we didn’t we wouldn’t have made tracks like ‘So Get Up’ and a dozen others. But those are start points to Cosmic Gate’s music. Not end ones.”, says Nic Chagall. “Our overall aim is the long game”, expands Bossi. “In the studio we want to create tracks with real life expectancy. We want to make ‘years-from-now’ music, where every time you come back to a track, you hear something new, something different, something more than you caught the last time. There are so many more moments and elements with which you can start to feel a track. We want to encourage people to experience electronic music in a deeper, wider, more complete way.”
The album’s tracklist features new collaborations with Ørjan Nilsen, Alexander Popov, KhoMha and more. In addition to the various producers, the album will include Emma Hewitt, Jonathan Mendelsohn, Cary Brothers and more to supply their vocal expression to tracks. The much anticipated album has already earned Album of the month from Electronic Music bible Mixmag. The well-known magazine says ‘Start To Feel’ is:“stylistically fearless, panoramic, astonishing and by virtue-of, reaches that hallowed height of perfection.” Start to feel it for yourself June 27, 2014.
