YetepDillon Francis has the “big spoon” complex in the Hard Summer promotional video where he parodies Mad Decent’s Diplo and OWSLA’s Skrillex duo Jack U with Porter Robinson. Maybe it’s a sign of jealousy from Dillon confessing his inner desires to be part of the duo, but in the beginning of the video, he makes it very clear that he is much better off as “Solo Man.” This probably isn’t making much sense to you, so I encourage you to watch the video. If you can’t wait until August to see one of EDM’s most charasmatic DJ’s, you can catch Dillon at Wet Electric this weekend. We can’t promise he will bring the spoons…
Now onto the more important things: the HARD Summer Line- Up aka proof there is a God. Hard Summer will take place on the first weekend of August at the Fairplex in Southern California. Headlining Saturday is the Weeknd, The Chemical Brothers, Dillon Francis, Porter Robinson, Schoolboy Q, and Odesza. Sunday brings an equally massive line-up with Jack U, Ratatat, Chromeo, RL Grime, Zeds Dead, and Robin Shulz. HARD Summer is known for its diverse and bass-centric artists and 2015 will not disappoint.
