Watch it Wednesday: Chromeo – ‘Don’t Sleep’ feat. French Montana & Stefflon Don

This week, our Watch it Wednesday is getting sophisticated. Chromeo teamed up with French Montana and Stefflon Don to drop an artistic music video in December, “Don’t Sleep.” The music video is packed with artistic and visually pleasing elements that take the original track to another level. The music video is filmed inside a huge mansion and shows off the lavish features of the house while choreographed dances and vivid colors tell the story of “Don’t Sleep.” As always, Chromeo stays true to their funky new-age electric jazz sound, while teaming up with French Montana and Stefflon Don add a healthy dose of hip-hop to the track.

Chromeo recently paid Phoenix a visit over this past Labor Day weekend and it was stacked with groovy, euphoric music. The duo has been active in the industry since 2002, giving them almost two decades of experience perfecting their sound. The duo has broken through the mainstream spotlight on numerous occasions by being nominated for a Juno Award in 2008 and an MTV Video Music Award in 2011. In 2018, the duo also dropped their fifth studio album Heads Over Heals. Even with all this experience under their belt, Chromeo is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
