Relentless Beats

Carnage Releases Debut Album ‘Papi Gordo’

Carnage continues to lead the electronic music scene with genre-defying productions through his debut, hip hop-centric album Papi Gordo.

The 15-track LP out today on Ultra Music sees the raucous beatmaker reach into his wheelhouse to create rap-laden compositions swathed in trapped out beats and distorted synths.

Featuring a variety of hip-hop superstars such as Rick Ross (on his first-ever electronic music collaboration), Migos, ASAP Ferg, OG Maco, iLoveMakonnen and TY Dolla $ign as well as production contributors Tomas Barfod, Timmy Trumpet, Milo & Otis, AraabMuzik and KSHMR, Papi Gordo showcases Carnage’s prowess concocting his trademark sound of rap-fueled electronic music.

Carnage dropped the first single from the Papi Gordo album – turn-up anthem “Bricks” featuring Atlanta-based trio Migos – last summer and has been on a tear through the hip hop world since. This year the audacious producer has released his party-starting collaboration with iLoveMakonnen “I Like Tuh” and the bass-fueled “WDYW” featuring A$AP Ferg, Lil Uzi Vert, and Rich The Kid. Carnage also graced dance fans this summer with his Melbourne bounce-tinged electro thumper “Toca” alongside trumpeter/DJ Timmy Trumpet and rising star producer KSHMR.
