YetepUltra Miami has announced the first phase of artists for their 2016 lineup and needless to say it does not disappoint. Many of the usual headliners such as Martin Garrix, Tiësto, Afrojack, Avicii, and more will be returning as well as a few surprises. Pendulum will be making their official return at Ultra Miami as well as Rabbit in the Moon, a live group that ended back in 2010. There is a lot of variety in the phase 1 lineup and with 9 stages there is sure to be an act for every electronic music lover.

Ultra will also be bringing in some tropical vibes with the likes of Kygo, Thomas Jack (Live set), Duke Dumont, Sam Feldt, and more. Many are anticipating the newer artists such as Marshmello, who has been selling out shows left and right, and KSHMR, making a huge name for himself in 2015, making their official Ultra debuts. The festival seems to be pushing forward with its attempt to diversify with names like Chet Faker, The Prodigy, Miike Snow, and Tycho. If you aren’t already convinced check out the full phase 1 lineup below!
Ultra also recently announced the return of the Resistance stage with an exciting new twist on the design. After teaming up with Arcadia, the Resistance stage will be spider shaped with all kinds of mechanics and pyrotechnics. The Resistance concept was debuted in 2015 with the idea of keeping underground music at big festivals where some of the biggest names in the market were playing. The idea gained overwhelming support and the Resistance stage was brought to 5 different continents in 2015.
