The Dynamic Duo Hotel Garuda Bring Their Deep House/Future Bass Fusion to Phoenix with Their Lost in Motion Tour

Manila Killa and Candle Weather, the two halves of Hotel Garuda, met each other at middle school in Indonesia years ago. After getting to know each other musically, they decided to join forces and show the world the future of bass music. Although Hotel Garuda have been together for many years, its success only recently kicked off in 2014 when the demand for deep house and future bass was at its first peak.

Both of these artists are known to incorporate a variety of genres in their music as well as their live sets, ranging from deep house, to tropical house, to indie dance, to future bass. Hotel Garuda’s live sets are incredible because they will keep the audience on their toes for the entirety of the sets with the smooth fusion of deep house and future bass.

The mentality of this group and their fans is letting loose when the bass kick in. Because their music is so unpredictable, knowing how to dance or knowing the dance rhythm of a genre is not necessary. Quite on the contrary in fact, Hotel Garuda wants their fans to feel the music and not be afraid to express themselves. The unpredictability in their music makes Hotel Garuda one of the most, if not the most, dynamic of all the duos.

Since seeing them at EDC Las Vegas in 2015, I have been waiting for this dynamic duo to come to Arizona. The wait is over with their tour alongside Amtrac, Lost in Motion, at Monarch Theatre on March 5th; and I can finally check in with Hotel Garuda once again!
