EDMovie Madness: Afrojack Teams Up With Fais For “Hey,” Major Lazer Releases Music Video For “Light It Up,” And Keys N Krates With A Crazy Video For “U Already Know”

This week we’re taking a look at music videos from Afrojack, Major Lazer, and Keys N Krates. Afrojack began playing piano at the age of five and at eleven, he started experimenting with the production program Fruity Loops. Now at 24, Afrojack has multiple Grammy nominations under his belt. Major Lazer is a collaborative musical project from DJ/Producers Diplo, Jillionaire and Walshy Fire, known for their worldwide hit, “Lean On” among other massive tracks. And last but definitely not least, Keys N Krates are the versatile EDM trio from Toronto known for their heavy bass bangers and live band performances.

Fais – “Hey” ft Afrojack

Afrojack offers a love struck music video for “Hey” featuring Fais sharing a story of a girl who got away. When her lover isn’t giving her attention someone else steals her away, and shows her the best night of her life. He happens to be friends with Afrojack and not only takes her to his show but they get to dance on stage. I think it’s safe to say she won’t be getting back with her ex.

Major Lazer – “Light It Up” ft. Nyla & Fuse ODG

Major Lazer incorporates a sense of visual language in their video for “Light It Up.” Video director Sam Pilling traveled to Ghana, and received permission to observe and record a traditional funeral ceremony. The video starts and ends with a poem read in Twi, and posses’s the perfect balance of somber and joy, displaying hope in the face of loss.

Keys N Krates – “U Already Know”

Keys N Krates video for “U Already Know” is on the stranger side of things taking you on a journey of a group of young individualists on the outskirts of society. They wake up in a cabin and begin painting each others faces and passing around some sort of spiritual broth to drink. Then the group dances around a bonfire while an investigation team is planning to rain on their parade.
