The Second Half Of The Phoenix Lights Lineup Is Just As Stacked As The First

Phoenix Lights 2016 is looking to be one of the biggest events yet in Arizona, and the lineup is definitely something to talk about. Phases one and two of the lineup include Kaskade, Yellow Claw, TroyBoi, Black Tiger Sex Machine, Jai Wolf, Bakermat, Claude Von Stroke, Eric Prydz, MK, and SNBRN. And as if that weren’t enough, we now have another ten incredible artists joining the list.

Remainig Phoenix Lights Lineup:

4B – 4B is a New Jersey born producer inspired by DJ’s & producers such as Diplo, A-Trak, DJ Tameil and influences his music with R&B and Hip Hop. You’ve probably heard his bootleg of “Move That Dope” and can look forward to some bangin trap drops at PL.

Cut Snake – Leigh Sedley and Paul Fisher moved from Australia to America 10 years ago as professional surfers. These days, the duo is better knows as the DJ group Cut Snake. “It comes from an Australian saying: ‘mad as a cut snake,’” Sedley says, explaining their name. “When you chop a snake’s head off, it’ll keep living — like its nerves will keep going for another half an hour or so. I’m pretty sure it can still bite you.” So the term is Australian lingo for crazy. The two shared a love of house music and were able to turn that into something amazing.

DJ Snake – Frenchman born William Grigahcine, also known as DJ Snake is at the forefront of the trap music movement, having taken the genre to the charts with his 2013 single “Turn Down for What” featuring Lil Jon. His work on Lady Gaga’s 2011 single “Born This Way” earned him a Grammy nod when it was nominated for Album of the Year in 2012. In 2012, he also signed with Diplo’s imprint Mad Decent and released the single “Bird Machine” on the label in 2013. He’s now made a breakout as a single artist with recent singles “Middle” featuring Bipolar Sunshine, and “Propoganda.”

Dr. Fresch – Since 2009 Tony Fresch has made a name for himself as one of the most distinguished up and coming DJs and producers in the edm scene. In 2011 and 2012 Tony won the title of “Best College DJ in LA” in a live contest vote. Tony has recently developed the deeper alias “Dr. Fresch” and has recently worked with names like Jackal, SNBRN, and Shaun Frank.

Drezo – Based in Los Angeles, the 23 year old took some time experimenting with different genres and trying to find his sound. “Drezo” was established in early January 2012 and the one man progressive minded master is slowly making his imprint in the electronic music scene. In 2012 he won the EDC Orlando Discovery Project, earning a 9-10pm slot on the Neon Garden stage. He’s been skyrocketing since then and was seen at our very own Decadence NYE and is now making his comeback at Phoenix Lights.

Ephwurd – Ephwurd is comprised of bass music heavyweights Datsik and Bais Haus, who joined forces to create something new and fresh. The two producers explore house arrangements with heave bass backrounds resulting in a new and irresistable sound. The duo teamed up with Jauz for the wubby banger, “Rock The Party,” which grew infectiously popular instantly and continue to create impressive tracks.

Excision – Jeff Abel, better known by his stage name Excision, or maybe the king of dubstep is a Canadian producer and DJ who frequently works with fellow Canadian dubstep producers Datsik and Downlink, along with rising producer Dion Timmer. As one of the first dubstep producers and DJs in North America, he has played a significant role in the genre’s growth in popularity, and also the development of a more aggressive approach to dubstep production.

Ghastly – Entirely self-taught, David Crow, also known as Ghastly‘s musical style has progressed from a large variety of genres including Ambient, Death Metal, Experimental, all the way to his current EDM based creations. He started creating his own music at the age of 16 and worked his way up to being rated #1 by LA weekly and huge single releases with the likes of Jauz, Marshmello, Mija, Getter, and others.

Illenium – San Francisco native Nicholas Miller, better known as ILLENIUM, incorporates influences from Seven Lions, Zeds Dead, & Sound Remedy. ILLENIUM creates his own blend of melodic dubstep with his asteroid like bass and intricate melody lines. He just released his beautiful Ashes album, and I can’t wait to hear it live.

Tritonal – Formed in 2008, Tritonal are a progressive trance duo from Austin, Texas consisting of producers Chad Cisneros and David Reed. The duo have been creating a variety of loveable tracks for the past eight years that have appeared on labels such as Anjunabeats, Fraction Records, and Coldharbour Recordings. Tritonal has produced hit tracks with The Chainsmokers, Cash Cash, and Juventa, and remixed pop star Adam Lambert. These guys have performed at major EDM festivals such as Ultra Music Festival, Electric Zoo, and Electric Daisy Carnival, and now we get them here in AZ!

These twenty artists are about to throw a real party with such a variety of genres brought to the table. Phoenix Lights will get to see just about a little bit of everything so you don’t want to miss out on another growing event!
