Deadmau5 & NVIDIA Join Forces for the Ultimate Mau5 Spec Stream Lab

TUE, JUL 19, 2016

So Deadmau5, for those of you who don’t know, is a pretty smart guy. He was a huge staple for the electronic music scene for a really long time and still has just as much of an impact today. As a part of his latest game plan to try and push the boundaries with technology again as a whole, he has teamed up with NVIDIA, the world leader in visual computing. The partnership kicks off today with episode 1 in a 3-part video series that showcases a one-of-a-kind collaboration with NVIDIA crafting four stunning PC mods each themed after a different supercar from mau5’s own collection.

NVIDIA is known to push the boundaries of technology to build products that not only supercharge computers but also inspire PC gaming communities. This collaboration is a natural fit as Deadmau5 is a huge gamer himself along with his love for art and technology. You’ve seen the guys neck tattoo right? He’s even produced and composed music for some really popular games, Dota 2 and GTA IV.

If you want, you can check out episode 1 that focuses on concept and design and watch as NVIDIA Creative Director – Jules Mann carefully selects the most visually striking and iconic aspects of each vehicle to be adapted and infused into each unique PC mod. It’s pretty sweet in all honesty, so it’s worth the watch if you have the time.

What's up everybody! My name is Eric Alexander, although feel free to call me The Kid Eric, which is my DJ name. I'm a recent college graduate who started with Relentless Beats back in October 2015. My dream is to be a headliner DJ, but if that doesn't happen, then what I'm doing right now is perfectly alright. As long as I got my music and good vibes. My favorite music is anything with a lot of bass in it. Bass house, dubstep, DnB, trap, and whatever else there is out there that I can put my hands on. I think it's easier to just call me a bass head really. That's pretty much there really is to me. After all, I'm just a kid doing what he loves. If you ever see me at a show don't be afraid to grab my attention and say what's up! I absolutely love meeting new people <3
