Nervo, Branchez, and Slumberjack are taking over EDMovie Madness this week with some awesome music videos, all one of a kind.
Nervo – People Grinnin’ (feat. The Child of Lov)
Australian duo NERVO smash back with their immense new single and video, the stunning ‘People Grinnin'” Featuring the smooth vocals of Amsterdam-based vocalist, The Child of Lov, via Big Beat Records. The music video is part of their ‘Made By Me’ campaign to help address the gender disparity and skills shortage in the field of engineering. The ‘People Grinnin’’ music video features female engineers creating android versions of NERVO. Aiming to draw attention to how engineering applies to everyday life beyond just roads and buildings, the video is aiming to attract more diverse students to the discipline.
Lumberjack – Open Fire (feat. Daniel Johns)
Back in April Mad Decent released a single by Slumberjack and Daniel Johns called “Open Fire.” It blew fans away, pulling in close to 300K plays on Soundcloud alone. Now they’re offering a music video to go along with the future trap production. With the music video, we get an interesting gaming meets virtual reality concept that will turn some heads. The film clip follows the antics of four young girls who run wild in a glitchy, digital world that represents the Internet, with particular focus towards the addictive aspects of the Internet that engulfs the youth.
Branchez – Dreamer (feat. Santell)
I’m not sure the last time I put on roller blades, but Branchez new video for his track “Dreamer” definitely makes me want to go find a pair. Branchez and video director Ezra were strolling through Washington Square Park in NY when they came across a talented roller blader who now is the star of the new video. Branchez said in the YouTube description: “If I had this dream I’d be really pumped. Sonic is a legend and arguably the dreamiest person I’ve ever had to chance to meet/work with. Ezra saw him skating in Washington Square Park and was smart enough to start a conversation. Sonic was excited to show off his skills and hopes to inspire viewers to start skating. I hope you enjoy this video as much as we enjoyed creating it!”
