The Chainsmokers Set Fires With Their New Track
Electronic dance music consists of many dynamic duo’s, and The Chainsmokers have proven to be one of the most successful ones we’ve seen. The duo consisting of Alex Pall and Drew Taggart have practically taken over the scene over the past year with hit singles ‘ROSES,’ ‘Don’t Let Me Down,’ ‘Closer,’ and a few others. And just when you thought they might run out of steam, The Chainsmokers have graced us with yet another wonderful track.
As we transition into winter, Alex and Drew prepare to keep us warm with this new track titled “Setting Fires,” wrapping up their ‘Collage EP.’ Brother and sister vocal duo XYLO sing throughout the track about a broken love story. Maybe this is a follow up to the ‘Closer’ cliff hanger music video letting us know it didn’t end well. They sing “I can’t go on setting fires to keep you warm” leading to the drop, where The Chainsmokers take over with a futuristic yet poppy drop.

Alex and Drew have mastered a more modern sound of dance-pop, blending electronic melodies and hip-hop beats throughout their new EP. They have performed all over the world this festival season but aern’t done just yet.
The Chainsmokers will be joining us at this years Decadence NYE along with other huge artists like Zedd, Porter Robinson, Deadmau5, and many more. What better way to ring in the new year than by dancing to some of The Chainsmokers newest tracks? It will be a night to remember.
