YOOKiE Releases Deep & Dark Single “Subs”
Brothers Anthony and Chris Alfaro from New York make up the dj duo YOOKiE, and it’s safe to say these two made the right choice pursuing music together. As the bass genre has exploded and become what some might say is over saturated, YOOKiE stands out amongst the rest.
Having already been released on Dim Mak, Big Beat, Buygore, with forthcoming releases on Mad Decent, Good Enuff, and Never Say Die Records, YOOKiE’s music highlights the direction in which electronic music is headed. You’ve most likely heard their remix of Skrillex‘s ‘Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites’ which was featured during The Chainsmokers and Carnage‘s sets at Ultra Music Festival 2016. YOOKiE also destroy’s their remixes like the one’s they put together for The Chainsmokers’ “Inside Out” and Dillon Francis & NGHTMRE’s “Need You.”
The duo’s most newest release is a dark and monstrous track titled “Subs.” Straying from their usual high energy bass sound, YOOKiE slows things down for their new single taking you straight to the darkest bowels of the universe. “Subs” is creepy and eerie, filled with deep basslines and growling snares against an airy melody.
