AZ Strikes Gold With A-Trak B2B Baauer

Goldrush is one of Arizona’s most anticipated events of the year. With a crazy combination of the top hip-hop and EDM artists, the event is sure to be one to remember. Not to mention the highly emphasized Western theme alongside it’s Western Town counterpart.

One of the most exciting artist announcements for Goldrush was the B2B with A-Trak and Baauer–two of the biggest names in the industry that have withstood the test of time. The longevity of both of these artists is remarkable. A-Trak has been “real DJing” since the 90’s where he won multiple DJ battles starting at just 15! He started out great and has only gotten better as the years have gone by. You may know A-Trak best from his hit remix of Heads Will Roll by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, released in 2011 and made famous by Project X.  This song is still played in DJ sets even 8 years later.

Baauer has been creating music since 2011, who is still highly ranked in the EDM scene, even with it’s growth in the past few years. He blew up when his single “Harlem Shake” went viral in 2012.  When this song came out, I don’t think I could go one day without hearing some reference to it. After this success, Baauer produced “Higher” with Just Blaze and ever since, the man has been headlining tours and festivals at locations such as Red Rocks, Lollapalooza and more.

With the track record of these two extremely talented producers, the combination is unstoppable. A-Trak’s unique set of scratching and mixing skills compiled with the upbeat trap Baauer releases, this B2B set will definitely be one for the books.
