YetepIn 2015, TOKiMONSTA, born Jennifer Lee, found out she had an extremely rare condition called Moyamoya, which required her to undergo two extensive brain surgery. As a result of the surgeries Lee lost her ability to speak and walk, but worst of all, she lost her ability to make music. Despite her life-threatening situation, Lee was persistent, making strides every day to regain her abilities. Now, two years later, TOKiMONSTA is about to release an album, Lune Rouge, which consists entirely of songs she wrote after her recovery. The first song from the album, “I Wish I Could Be,” is here already. Check it, and four other TOKiMONSTA bangers out below!
“I Wish I Could”
“Team Rocket”
“Wow”
“Caught In The Rain”
“Put It Down”
